To prepare your stock material for CNC routing, start by gluing your pieces of wood together to make a panel or form a solid, cohesive block. Apply a generous amount of glue, make sure that the surfaces you glue are flat, evenly across the surfaces to ensure a strong bond.

Once the pieces are aligned, use clamps to press the wood tightly together, preventing any gaps and ensuring that the surface remains flat. This step is crucial for both structural integrity and ensuring the CNC machine cuts accurately. Leave the wood clamped for at least 24 hours to allow the glue to fully cure. If you're unsure about any part of this process, don't hesitate to seek assistance in the wood workshop. Proper preparation at this stage will significantly improve the quality of your final CNC project.
